The 2019 Levitt AMP Utica Summer Concert Series is coming to a close this Monday, August 26th – and New York Sash is sponsoring!
Levitt AMP Utica has been a free, ten-week concert series on Monday evenings in Kopernik Park, Downtown Utica. Featuring live music, art, performances, food trucks and a lively atmosphere, the concerts bring community together in a family-friendly, alcohol-free environment.
This Monday is a special Latin Night event with two high energy bands – Grupo Pagan from Syracuse is opening the night and La Misa Negra from Oakland, California is the headlining act. Ritmo Caribeño – youth cultural dance group of the Mohawk Valley Latino Association – and Levitt AMP coordinators will be leading an audience-wide group dance on Eagle Street during La Misa Negra’s song Acosadora. Click here for a video to learn the dance!
There’s also fun for kids on Monday with a Kid’s Art Circle and Utica Children’s Museum giant-sized games. Plus New York Sash will be bringing a giant chalk wall for decorating!
We hope to see you there – 6 to 9pm at Kopernik Park across from Munson-Williams!
