Framing the View: Picture to Bay Window Done Right

For this week’s featured project, we’re highlighting a window upgrade we recently completed for a returning customer in Utica, NY. Looking to enhance both style and functionality, they chose to replace their old picture window with a brand-new bay window, complete with double hung windows on each side, all finished in classic white.

Our customer’s previous living room window was an older picture window with double hung windows on each end. The window started to show signs of seal failure due to the age and harsh upstate New York weather. So our customer decided now was the time to replace that window with a beautiful bay window.

A window will start to show signs of seal failure as time goes on, the best option is to replace the window to stop any further damage from occurring. Our customer will never have to worry about foggy panes with their new upgrade, they will be able to enjoy a clear view of the outdoors year round with no hassle.
