Featured: Window Replacement At Valley Alliance Church

As this week’s featured project, we’re taking a look at a special window replacement project we completed for the Valley Alliance Church in Palatine Bridge, NY. They reached out to us to help them replace a big window in their meeting area that was in need of attention. We installed three mulled double hung windows all finished in white.

When our Design Consultant went out to inspect the windows at the church, he noticed some areas of concern. The paint along the wooden frames were beginning to chip and crack and there was a noticeable gap between the window frame and the building, causing unwanted air to enter & escape.

These were the reasons why the church was looking to replace the windows, in hopes of making the meeting space more comfortable and efficient.

On installation day, our team was able to remove the old window units and repair the window frames, ensuring the new windows would have a proper and strong foundation.

The new mulled double hung units were joined together through a process called window mulling. Window mulling is a process in which two or more windows are joined together by their frames.
