This week we are featuring a walk-in shower we installed for a new customer in Ithaca, NY. Our customer decided to convert from a tub to a beautiful walk-in shower. We installed a gray shower base with a patterned wall surround. To finish off the project we installed brushed nickel fixtures, a grab bar with shelf, a four shelf caddy and a teak shower seat.
A tub to shower conversion is an ideal choice if you want a bigger shower without performing a major bath renovation project.
Our customer previously had a tub & shower combo that they wanted to update. Instead of going with a similar style and layout, our customer decided it would be beneficial to convert to a walk-in shower. Converting to a walk-in shower is a good option for homeowners because it can easily adapt to the homeowners changing needs and is easily accessible.
Before we could begin we had to tear-out the old tub and surround. Once that was removed, we were able to begin installing the new walk-in shower.
