Featured: Shower Conversion & Window Replacement

This week we are taking a look at a shower conversion and window replacement project we completed for a returning customer in Cooperstown, NY. Our customer was in need of a bath upgrade and a new living room window and we were to help with both projects! In the bathroom we installed an almond shower base with a patterned wall surround in the color river rock. To complete the bath project we installed chrome fixtures, a corner caddy, grab bar and an acrylic ceiling panel.

Shower conversions designed for you

Our customer previously had a tub & shower combo that was older and in need of replacement. Rather than keeping the tub and shower, he decided to convert to an easy to use walk-in shower, complete with new accessories, fixtures and a new ceiling panel.

Upon initial inspection, we noticed water damage to the ceiling around the shower area, so our design consultant suggested adding an acrylic ceiling panel.

The new acrylic ceiling panel will encapsulate the ceiling and will protect it from any water, mold or mildew damage that is common in bathrooms without proper ventilation.

Our certified bath installers removed the old tub and surround and prepped the area for install. Once the area was ready we were able to begin installing the new walk-in shower.

New Living Room Window

To complete the entire project we installed a new twin mulled double hung window finished in white. Our customer was having interior and exterior problems with his living room window and rather than trying to fix up the old window, he decided the best option was to fully replace it.

When windows are older and repairs can no longer be made to the window, replacement is the best option. Window replacement allows you to enjoy the benefits of new modern windows such as increased energy efficiency, ease of use and enhanced curb appeal.
