As this week’s featured project we are taking a look at a walk-in shower we installed for a customer in Seneca Falls, NY. Our customer converted to a walk-in shower because it was becoming harder to get in and out of their bathtub. We installed a white shower base with a smooth white wall surround. A four shelf caddy, a chrome grab bar with shelf and a bench teak seat were installed and complete the new shower.
A tub to shower conversion is an ideal choice if you want a bigger shower without performing a major bath renovation project. Our customer decided it was time to convert to a walk-in shower because it was becoming difficult to get in and out of the bathtub. Converting to a walk-in shower is a great idea for homeowners who are looking to increase the accessibility of their shower area.
Before we could begin we had to remove their old tub and surround. Once that was removed, we were able to begin installing the new walk-in shower.
