SHOWER FOR A SOLDIER BATH REMODEL

New York Sash wanted to improve the life of a local Veteran experiencing hardships that hinder every day tasks, even such as bathing.

As our thank you for their service, one nominee was selected to have a new tub or shower installed in their bathroom. This bathroom remodel giveaway included a new Jacuzzi Bath Remodel acrylic tub or shower with accessories, hardware, valve and fixtures with labor costs.

Let’s take a look at the brand new shower we installed for our Shower for a Soldier Bath Remodel Recipients, Lee & Nancy Watkins!

We installed a shower in midnight storm with an alabaster white base. Fixtures were installed in brushed nickel and we added a bench seat for support. To finish off the space, we installed a semi- frameless shower door with clear glass. New York Sash transformed the Watkins’ bathroom into a safer, more-accessible and relaxing space with a Jacuzzi Bath Remodel tub-to-shower conversion.

“Lee is a Vietnam War Veteran and has suffered some health issues due to Agent Orange. His lack of balance and diabetic neuropathy makes it difficult to get into the bathtub to take a shower. He would benefit from a walk in shower with a seat, which would make his life a little easier.”
