This week’s featured project takes on a siding renovation. Our customers were looking to spruce up their home. They decided on two different styles for the front and the back.
Our first step was to remove all the existing siding and fascia wrap and install an insulated levelor board.
On the front of the home we installed our Cedar Impressions double 7″ straight edge rough split shake siding in the color Mountain Cedar. Cedar Impressions, replicating real cedar shakes, is a time-honored style that offers textured beauty as well as outstanding durability.
The customer also added louvered shutters in Burgundy Red.
On the back, we went with a more traditional siding, Dutchlap 5″ panel in Autumn Red.
The Dutchlap style of Clapboard siding is where there is a decorative groove or notch that runs along the top edge of the board. This style comes in dozens of colors!
We also installed fascia wrap, garage door wrap and vents in white.
