This week, for our featured project we made a visit to one our past customers in Rome, NY. This project was custom designed, consisting of two awnings and a picture window! They wanted a unique style to accent the front of their home.
Awning windows have one or more sash that rotate about it’s top hinge and projects outward – so it swings up. They can be installed in a variety of places – next to other vinyl windows, arranged in columns, or placed above large patio doors to create a wall of light and fresh air.
A picture window is a large fixed window. A picture window gets its name because it is designed to provide a clear view of your surroundings, acting as a picture frame for the scenery outside. Since it features a wise expanse of glass, a picture window is great for bringing natural light to your home. Adding a picture window to a room is also a wonderful way to highlight an attractive outdoor view.
This project turned out great, giving our customer an amazing view of her yard and a look that stands out!
