Featured: New Windows For A New Year

As this week’s featured project we are taking a closer look at a window project we recently completed for a returning customer in Rome, NY. We replace their doors and remodeled their shower area a couple years back, and when they were ready for new windows, they gave us a call to help! We installed double hung windows, twin and triple mulled double hung units and a mulled picture window. All of the windows are finished in white with flat grids.

Our customer had double hung windows throughout his home and was starting to have mechanical issues with some of them. Some of the double hung windows were not staying up on their own. When he would open them the window sash would fall back down unless there was something holding the bottom sash open.

When a mechanism in the window is broken this issue can occur. Rather than trying to fix the older windows he decided that it was time to upgrade them with new modern windows from New York Sash.
