Featured: 5 Star Shower Conversion & Review

Accessible walk-in shower complete with safety accessories.

As this week’s featured project we are taking a look at a shower conversion we recently completed for a returning customer in Burlington Flats, NY. Our customer wanted to make their shower safer and more accessible and gave us a call to help! We installed a white shower base with a smooth white acrylic wall surround. To complete the project we installed a four-shelf caddy, a grab bar with shelf, a glass shower door with privacy glass and a teak shower seat for added accessibility.

Our customer previously had a tub and shower that they were ready to get rid of and convert to an easy to use walk-in shower. Converting to a walk-in shower is a great way to gain some extra shower space while also being easily accessible. Walk-in showers can adapt to homeowner’s changing needs and can allow for loved ones to age in place.

After working with their Design Consultant our customer was able to create a walk-in shower that they will feel more comfortable and confident using and will give them peace of mind!

Well we’ve now called New York Sash again and have finished a wonderful renovation of our bathroom. Everything looks great and it was the same as before “smooth and efficient” just like before. Mike sold and measured and Rachel followed up. Sean Grant and Nate Hatch were right on time everyday of the four days it took to install showers, toilet, vanity, shelves, lighted mirror, sink and new floor.
