This week we are featuring a double window project we completed for a new customer in Yorkville, NY and for a returning customer in Syracuse, NY. Both of our customers were having problems with their previous windows and gave us a call when they were ready to replace them! For both projects we installed a three-lite slider window finished in white.

Slider windows open horizontally, with the sash sliding to the left or right. Think of it like a single hung or a double hung window, on its side. Side sliding windows increase panoramic views of the outdoors and are a perfect fit for situations with limited vertical area. Both of our customer’s new three-lite slider windows contain a half size window in the middle and quarter size windows on each side.

For project one our customer previously has a casement window that was starting to show signs of wear. On the exterior of the old window the paint was starting to chip around the window and the frame was starting to deteriorate. This can cause air and water infiltration if not properly addresses. Our customer decided it was time to replace the window and decided to convert to a new window style. The new slider window makes a great addition to the area and will be much easier to use and maintain.

We replaced a couple windows for our customer before and we were happy to help when they were ready to replace their living room window. They wanted to replace the window in their living room with a new window style that would better fit the area and would match perfectly with the other windows in their home. The new slider window is a great choice for a living room window because it is easy to operate and provides panoramic views of the outdoors. The perfect addition to any living room.
