Double Feature: Opening New Doors At Two CNY Homes

This week we’re featuring a double sliding glass door project that we completed for a new customer in Ilion, NY and for a returning customer in New Hartford, NY. One customer decided to give their old patio door an upgrade, while our other customer decided to swap patio door styles. For both projects we installed beautiful sliding glass doors finished in white.

For project one, our customer wanted to replace an old set of French doors leading out to her backyard. After meeting with her Design Consultant and going over her options, she decided converting to a sliding glass door would be the best option for her and her home. On installation day, our team removed the old French doors and installed the new sliding glass door, complete with brand new framing, lockset and colonial grids.

For project two, our customer reached out to us to help with replacing their old and failing patio door. Their previous patio door had seal failure which had caused the glass to become foggy and cloudy. When this happens, it’s often best to replace the entire unit to ensure the same problem doesn’t continue to happen- which is what our customer did! Just by replacing their old patio door our customer can enjoy a more comfortable space without unwanted air infiltration or foggy glass.
