Featured: Custom Living Room Window

As this week’s featured project we are featuring a large custom window that we installed for a new customer! We installed a picture window with double hung windows mulled on each side with flat grids on the double hung windows, and the entire window is finished in white. To finish off the project we installed three pairs of raised panel shutters in Forest Green.

A picture window is a large fixed window that features a wide expanse of glass. A picture window gets its name because it is designed to provide a clear view of your surroundings, acting as a picture frame for the scenery outside. Our customer’s picture window was joined by two double hung windows on both sides through a process called window mulling.

Before & After

Our customer’s new window is similar in style to her previous window and will still provide her with floor to ceiling views of the outdoor area. This window layout will allow ample light to enter the front part of the home.
