This week we are featuring a double hung picture window we installed for a returning customer in Whitesboro, NY. We previously installed some of their windows and when they were ready to have more replaced, they gave us a call! We installed a new picture window with two double hung windows mulled on both sides. The double hung windows have half-screens and the window is finished in white.
Our customer’s previous window was similar in style, but was beginning to show signs of wear, so they decided to have it replaced.
When your windows begin to show signs of wear, it is a good idea to have them replaced. This will stop any further damage from occurring.
Their new window will be much more energy efficient and will provide them with many long-lasting benefits.
New Double Hung Picture Window- Interior
A picture window is a large fixed window that features a wide expanse of glass. A picture window gets its name because it is designed to provide a clear view of your surroundings, acting as a picture frame for the scenery outside. Adding a picture window to a room is a wonderful way to highlight an attractive outdoor view. The new picture window is joined by two double hung windows on both sides through a process called window mulling.
Window mulling is a process in which two or more windows are joined together by their frames. New York Sash mulled windows provide strength and performance unmatched by other offerings. Built with clean lines, unparalleled strength and design flexibility our structural mulling options fit any opening and design requirement.
Whether you are looking to have one window replaced or a house full of windows, we can help! New windows will add curb appeal and energy efficiency to your home.
Our Design Consultants will work with you and help you choose the windows that will best fit the style, character and needs of your home.
