This week we are featuring a house full of windows we installed for a new customer in Utica, NY. Our customer decided it was time to replace some of the windows in his home and gave us a call! We installed double hung windows, a double hung picture window and a geometric style window all finished in white.
New York Sash Premier double hung windows offer a lifetime of beauty and comfort. Two operable sashes move vertically in the frame and counterbalance mechanisms hold the sash open or closed.
Double hung windows are easy to clean because of the variety of ways that you can tilt and open them – this is especially convenient for homes with more than one level.
The new double hung windows fit in perfectly with the other windows and make a great addition to the home!
New Double Hung Window-Interior
The new picture window is joined by two double hung windows on both sides through a process called window mulling.
Window mulling is a process in which two or more windows are joined together by their frames. New York Sash mulled windows provide strength and performance unmatched by other offerings. Built with clean lines, unparalleled strength and design flexibility our structural mulling options fit any opening and design requirement.
Geometric windows can add visual interest and character to any home’s architecture, and is a great option for homeowners who want to add something new to their home. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes ranging from half-round and triangle to everything in between.
At New York Sash all of our windows are custom ordered to the exact size and style you want. You can choose from various styles, colors, grid and casement options to make the perfect window for your home.
When your ready for that next window project, our Design Consultants will work with you and help you choose the windows that will best fit the style, character and needs of your home.
